As a consultant to KCPL Solar, Solar Design Studios and Bob Solger worked with my organization, Westside Housing Organization to place solar panels on a 110 year old, mixed-use residential and commercial building that we were renovating at 8th and Woodland Avenue in Kansas City, MO. We wanted the solar power to serve the residential electric needs on the second floor of the building, as well as common area lighting.
