We love our 19.8kw system. Rory handled the quote. He was very informative and straightforward. Unlike others that quoted, he was not high pressure, did not bash the competition or overpromise. Dustin (owner) was involved in installation and setup. Weather delayed our install a bit, but once they got started they were determined to complete. Our system went online in July and our system has been meeting and exceeding our expectations. November is the first month that we did not overproduce. I'm confident we should have enough net-metering credit banked to cover any deficit through the remining winter months. I've had a few questions since the install and they have been very responsive.

The other companies wanted to justify their high costs by pushing financing and emphasizing the tax credits and their predicted increase in electricity costs over the next 25 years. Very few would give me a straight answer on what the system would actually cost to install and those who did were extremely unreasonable. I'm so glad I found Bob! He was very upfront and honest with everything, designed a system to fit my needs and budget, and made the process very smooth from start to finish. From the moment I spoke with him at the consultation I literally had to do nothing but make the payments, SDS handled everything. The crew that did the install was fantastic, we had a few unexpected hurdles with the electrical company and they handled them with grace and went above and beyond what I expected. As a consultant to KCPL Solar, Solar Design Studios and Bob Solger worked with my organization, Westside Housing Organization to place solar panels on a 110 year old, mixed-use residential and commercial building that we were renovating at 8th and Woodland Avenue in Kansas City, MO.
